Enrollment Process – 972-931-0868

Every child at Bent Tree Child Development Center is evaluated prior to beginning here. Parents come in and visit our school. The center director answers any questions at that point and will make sure to introduce the prospective teacher, room and friends to the parent. The center director invites the child to visit as well. An evaluation day for the child is then scheduled. Children from ages 3 and up will be evaluated by being given the Gesell Developmental Test. Younger children work with individual teachers on age appropriate tasks. At the end of the evaluation day, the director will go over results with the parents and discuss enrollment options. We always want to make sure we can meet the needs of each child before guarantee of an available spot.

Step 2 – Visit our School

You will be invited to visit the school and meet with the School Director. You’ll see the classrooms, meet your child’s teacher and have time to observe any portions of the day you would like. We will do everything in our power to accommodate the start date that meets your needs. If there is a waiting list, you can secure the next available space by paying a registration fee and placing your name on the list. We will continue to stay in touch and when an opening becomes available, the Director will contact you immediately.

Step 3 – Parent Checklist & Free Discovery Day

There are so many neat things to see and great teachers to meet that we want to make sure you remember to evaluate all of the things important to you. Parent Checklist

Prior to your child’s first day with Bent Tree, you and your child will be invited to visit your child’s new classroom. This will allow your child to get acquainted with his/her new friends and teacher. This is a very important transition for our parents and children. We go out of our way to make sure every new child feels welcome.
