We became a part of the Bent Tree Family in 2005. Our daughter had been at home with a nanny so it was very important we found the “right” place for her. We visited many of the facilities around the Dallas area and kept coming back to Bent Tree. Gracie joined in August of 2005. It was not an easy transition for her. She cried every day and stopped eating. We were assured that it was perfectly normal for toddlers to go through this tough time, but she soon grew to love going to school and developed new relationships quickly. We received an enormous amount of encouragement and support from all of the Bent Tree staff. They would give us hugs and call us with daily updates. They really went through this transition with us. The positive changes we saw in her intellectual and social development almost immediately gave us great comfort that we had made the right choice. Several years later, our son Cameron, is now a part of Bent Tree. They truly enjoy going to school. Gracie has excelled beyond our own expectations and we know that Cameron is not far behind. Bent Tree truly puts in a lot of time, heart and passion in all they do that our children have truly benefited from their dedication.

Extracurricular Activities

For a modest fee, we offer our parents the convenience of having a dance teacher come on site and offer Ballet and Tap classes from Level II through kindergarten. We also offer "tumble gym" , "Mouse Club" computer classes and Piano lessons. This saves our busy families from darting here and there. Time at home with your child is precious. We want to help facilitate each family's quality time together.

Bent Tree Child development Center offers a plethora of extra curricular activities for our students. Most children qualify to enroll in these activities from Level II upwards. All our activities are designed to promote the overall growth and development of our amazing students. We have also found that the extra curricular activities we provide help our parents and relieve the stress of trying to get to dance, tumbling, or music lessons after a long day at work and school. All these activities take place on-site in the afternoons, thus saving Mom or Dad the tedious task of getting from place to place in rush hour traffic!

Tumble Gym
A gross motor class designed to aid children in hand/ eye coordination, large muscle development, games skills and the concept of good sportsmanship. Mr. John has been working with our parent company for many years and has become a much loved part of our Bent Tree family.

Ballet and Tapping Classes
For The Love of Dance has been coming to our sister schools for many years. Miss Cheri works with the children throughout the school year and the children put on an amazing recital in May. You can pick up her information at the front desk and classes begin in August and run through May.

Piano lessons
Miss Melodie is a new addition to the Bent Tree family and has done an excellent job in mentoring our budding musicians! Children from the ages of 2 years and up can participate in this activity. It is a proven fact that music is one of the few activities that crosses the mid-line of the brain and promotes “whole brain learning”, thus igniting and stimulating your child’s neurological connections in the most productive of ways.

Computer classes
Each classroom from Level II upwards contains computers. These provide a good base of knowledge for each child from a very early age. Your child will have an edge on their peers with our “extra” program through Mouse Club. Mouse Club gives children the chance to work on a special keyboard and learn finger positioning as well as letter recognition. This facilitates early reading and great comprehension skills.

With all of these extra curricular classes at your fingertips, you may not have to rush around near as much after work and on the weekend.
